Informed Learner Support

Advancing learner potential by helping schools understand the learners they serve.

LearnerLens enables proactive, preventative education by identifying strengths, risks, and developmental opportunities before they become barriers to learning, wellbeing, or future success.

Why it matters

Too many learners are struggling in silence.

Behind every report card and attendance log is a person navigating pressure, identity, belonging, and home. Most schools only learn something is wrong when it's already in crisis.

1 in 5

learners experience a mental health challenge during their school years.

50%

of lifetime mental illness begins by age 14 — most cases go undetected.

70%

of struggling learners never tell an adult at school they need help.

How it works

A clear, structured process

Designed for principals and school leaders — simple to understand, straightforward to implement.

  1. 1

    Wellbeing survey

Learners complete a structured wellbeing survey across key domains.

  2. 2

    Reports generated

Three-tiered reports are created for leadership, grade heads, and learners.

  3. 3

    Interventions selected

Targeted, tailor-made interventions are chosen and implemented at the right level.

Why it's different

Three-tiered intelligence reporting

LearnerLens generates three distinct report types — each calibrated to the right audience, with the right level of detail, at the right time.

Management Reports

High-level school overview for principals and leadership teams. Understand wellbeing trends, identify areas of concern, and make informed strategic decisions about learner support systems.

  • School-wide wellbeing overview
  • Grade-level trend analysis
  • Safeguarding priority flags
  • Evidence-informed planning support

Grade-Head Reports

Grade-specific insight for heads of year and pastoral leads. Identify which learners in a grade need closer attention and gain a clearer picture of how to structure support within that cohort.

  • Grade-level wellbeing breakdown
  • Individual learner flags
  • Intervention tracking by grade
  • Reduced teacher uncertainty

Learner Reports

Age-appropriate wellbeing profiles shared directly with learners. Designed to encourage self-awareness and help-seeking, without shame or clinical labelling.

  • Age-appropriate wellbeing profile
  • Encourages reflection and self-awareness
  • Structured learner voice channel
  • Supports proactive, early care
Privacy & safeguarding

Privacy and Data Protection Framework

Anonymous by default

Responses are de-identified at the source. Only flagged risk pathways surface a learner — and only to the people who need to act.

Role-based access

The three tier role-based ecosystem means that learner identity is safeguarded by access design.

Transparent to learners

Learners see exactly what is shared, with whom, and when. Learners need to trust and understand the system.

Built to standards

POPIA / GDPR aligned, with audit logs, encrypted storage, and clear data-retention defaults.
